Technology has revolutionized the way that we connect with people. Whether you work in the field, live in another city, enjoy the comfort of connecting from home, or don’t have enough time to reach our office, we would be happy to meet you for online counselling.
Connecting with us via your phone, laptop, tablet, or desktop is as simple as clicking a button. Reach us from the office, your car, your vacation spot, or your comfiest chair! Our online sessions are conducted through Jane, our clinic software. Jane is HIPPA, PIPEDA, and PHIPA compliant, and does not allow for recording or data storage. These security features make for a secure and confidential platform through which to conduct therapy.
We ask that you treat online counselling sessions as you would an in-person session. This includes ensuring you arrive on time, have a reliable internet connection, a working camera and microphone, and a safe, private, distraction-free space from which to conduct your sessions.
Practicing as a Psychologist is provincially regulated. Based on the jurisdictional boundary directive by the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP), we are limited to providing online services exclusively to clients in Alberta, with a few exceptions.
Our Psychologists are also permitted to offer online services to folks in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Nunavut.
