Life asks you to hold many things at once: the weight of where you've come from, the pull of where you hope to go, and everything you are carrying along the way. Balancing it all can feel confusing, exhausting, and complicated, sometimes leaving you questioning what it's all for. I feel privileged to sit with you, offering perspective and a safe environment to unpack the experiences that have shaped your path so you can find a way forward.

Therapy with me offers you a space to slow down, to unwind, and to let go. Together, we explore how the past has shaped who you are, how it shows up in your present, and how you can make meaning of it all to move towards the person you want to become. There is no “right way” to navigate the complexities of being human. You carry a unique story, a distinct set of strengths, and your own way of moving through the world. My role is to work alongside you, to listen, to reflect what I see, and to offer tools and perspectives that support lasting change. You don’t need to have your wants or your goals completely figured out before starting therapy; showing up as you are is enough. I’m here to walk with you, help you get clarity on what matters to you, and support you in taking practical steps toward creating the life you want.

If you feel ready to begin, I welcome you to reach out.

A Typical Session May Look Like

First and foremost, our sessions are a casual, down-to-earth conversation. I focus on creating a space where you can take a break from the daily rush and just focus on yourself. We will talk about what is going on in your life right now, while keeping in mind how your thoughts, your body, and your history all connect. I balance a supportive listening style with practical, everyday tools. This means we do not just talk about the heavy stuff; we also work on real strategies and share clear insights to help you navigate stress and handle tough emotions with more ease, making sure you feel equipped outside of our sessions.

Specialties

• Life Transitions & Personal Growth: Navigating the shift into adulthood, career changes, general relationship difficulties, or identity updates can leave you feeling ungrounded and uncertain. We work together to explore these changes, help you manage relationship challenges, build independence, discover your strengths, and establish a clear path forward. • Trauma & PTSD: Unresolved trauma and difficult histories frequently manifest in the present as anxiety, hypervigilance, or physical exhaustion. By using a trauma-informed and somatic approach, we safely unpack these experiences at your pace, helping you restore a sense of safety and control in your life. • Men's Issues: Men face distinct societal expectations regarding strength, emotional expression, and vulnerability that can make reaching out for support feel incredibly difficult. Our work provides a straightforward, casual space to process stress, burnout, and identity shifts without judgment or pretense.

Therapeutic Approaches

• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): This approach helps you clarify your core values and build psychological flexibility. Instead of spending your energy fighting uncomfortable thoughts and emotions, you learn to accept them so you can focus on taking meaningful action aligned with the life you want to live. • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): CBT examines the practical connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. By identifying unhelpful patterns, we can develop day-to-day strategies to change how you respond to stressors and reduce the severity of your symptoms. • Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT): EFT targets emotions as a map for growth. We work together to explore, understand, and transform distressing emotional blocks, helping you connect more deeply with yourself and your inner experiences. • Somatic Experiencing: Because stress and trauma are held physically, this body-based approach helps you tune into your physical responses. Tracking bodily sensations allows you to safely release trapped nervous system tension, bridging the gap between your mind and body.

We Might Be A Good Fit If

• You want a therapist who can sit with the messier, complicated parts of your life without trying to rush you into fixing them immediately. • You value a collaborative partnership where we actively work together rather than you just sitting and venting. • You appreciate straightforward feedback and someone who can gently point out blind spots or patterns you might be missing. • You are ready to explore new perspectives and practice changing how you respond to long-standing struggles.
