Currently accepting new clients.

You deserve a space where you can show up exactly as you are – without judgment, pressure, or the feeling that you need to have it all figured out. Whether you're navigating a difficult season of life, feeling overwhelmed and stuck in familiar patterns, struggling in your relationships, or simply longing to feel more like yourself again, therapy can offer a space to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with what matters most to you.

In our work together, you'll be met with warmth, authenticity, and genuine care. Many of the people I work with feel caught between who they are and who they think they should be, are carrying the heavy weight of self-doubt, high expectations, or relationship challenges, or are navigating life circumstances that leave them feeling disconnected and worn down. I also have a passion for working with men and enjoy supporting them in strengthening self-awareness, building confidence in understanding and expressing emotions and needs, and building more meaningful relationships with themselves and others. I believe healing and growth happen through meaningful connection, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe to explore your experiences, understand yourself more deeply, and move toward lasting change with greater self-compassion and confidence.

A Typical Session May Look Like

The therapeutic relationship is at the centre of my work. It is important to me to understand who you are, where you have been, and where you want to go. In our work together, my priority is learning about you to develop a deeper understanding of your experiences and reasons for attending therapy. I will ask questions to gain insight into your experiences throughout life, get curious about your perception of yourself and the world around you, and learn more about your hopes for change through attending therapy. The integration of self-compassion and permission to exist in your full humanness will be at the centre of our work together. My hope is that through my compassionate, authentic, and direct approach, you will enhance your belief and trust in yourself to feel equipped to navigate life’s challenges, develop a deeper understanding of your emotions and how to work with them instead of against them, and explore what it means to live a life that feels more authentic and meaningful. I will be with you in whatever shows up in the room; from the emotions or thoughts that feel like too much to the moments of celebration that you may pass over, all of you is welcome here.

Specialties

• Men’s mental health concerns often show up as difficulty expressing emotions, feeling disconnected from yourself or others, challenges in relationships, self-criticism, anger, uncertainty about identity or purpose, and the pressure to always have it together. This work explores how experiences, expectations, and messages have shaped how you relate to yourself and others, while helping you build practical tools and a deeper emotional understanding that supports a more regulated and authentic way to live. • Self-doubt/low self-worth can show up as a harsh inner critic, difficulty trusting yourself, constantly second-guessing decisions, comparing yourself to others, or feeling like you're never quite good enough. This work explores the experiences, relationships, and beliefs that have shaped how you see yourself, helping you develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself, greater self-trust, and a stronger sense of confidence and worth. • Relationship challenges can involve feeling disconnected from the people you care about, difficulty expressing emotions or needs, navigating conflict, managing expectations, or balancing closeness with independence. Together, we'll explore the experiences and relational dynamics that shape your connections while developing practical skills that improve your confidence in navigating conflict. This also involves making sense of past relational wounds or experiences that may still be shaping how you show up in your relationships today. • Life transitions can bring up feelings of uncertainty, grief, anxiety, or being “in-between” versions of yourself, even when the change is chosen or expected. These transitions often involve stepping into the unknown, whether that’s changes in relationships, work, identity, or direction in life. Together, we explore what this in-between space means for you, how it is impacting your sense of self, and how to move through it with greater steadiness and self-trust. • Existential anxiety often arises when you start questioning meaning, purpose, identity, or your place in the world, and can leave you feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or disconnected. This work supports you in making space for these questions with curiosity while helping you understand what values and hopes will lead to a more intentional and connected way of life.

Therapeutic Approaches

• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is based on the understanding that emotional struggles often arise when we become stuck in difficult thoughts, feelings, or patterns of avoidance. Through mindfulness, self-compassion, and exploration of your values, ACT helps you develop a more flexible relationship with your inner experiences rather than fighting against them. This approach can help you respond to challenges more effectively, make choices that align with your values, and build a greater sense of purpose and well-being. • Emotionally-focussed therapy (EFT) is an attachment-based approach that views emotional safety and connection as central to healing in relationships. It helps you identify patterns that keep you stuck and access the deeper emotions underneath conflict, distance, or withdrawal. This process can support you in building stronger, more secure, and more emotionally connected relationships. • Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) is based on the understanding that people have an innate capacity for growth and healing. By slowing down and paying attention to emotional experiences in a supportive and collaborative way, this approach can help you make sense of your feelings, heal from past wounds, and develop new ways of relating to yourself and others. AEDP emphasizes a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship where you can explore emotions that may feel overwhelming or difficult to access, fostering greater self-understanding, resilience, and lasting change. • Parts work is based on the understanding that we all have different parts of ourselves that influence how we feel, think, and relate to others. Using a compassionate and curious approach, we will explore parts that carry emotional wounds from past experiences, as well as the protective patterns that your parts developed to help you cope. By fostering a deeper connection with these parts and responding to them with care, this process can help heal old wounds, build self-understanding, and cultivate a more supportive relationship with yourself. • Attachment-focused work is based on the understanding that our relationships shape how we see ourselves, others, and the world around us. Through a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship, we explore patterns of connection, protection, and emotional need that may have developed over time. This process can help you build greater self-understanding, strengthen your relationships, and cultivate a deeper sense of security and trust.

We Might Be A Good Fit If

• You are looking for a therapist who genuinely cares about you and welcomes all the parts of who you are. • You’re looking for a therapist who, while gentle and compassionate, isn’t afraid to be direct and honest with you. • You’re looking for a space that feels real and human - one where you don’t have to perform or “have it all together.” • You value a collaborative and down-to-earth approach, where therapy feels like a genuine conversation rather than something clinical or distant. • You are someone who feels things deeply, overthinks, or reflects a lot on meaning, purpose, and what it means to live a meaningful life (because, same). • You’re open to exploring both emotional depth and practical change. • You’re looking for support in becoming more connected to yourself, your emotions, and what actually matters to you.
